A few awards were WON this weekend!!!

I entered my car into a S.L.A.P. show for Sound quality this Saturday, I'm in class 601watts+ Novice class. There were 8 vehicles in my class and I WON!!! woo-hoo!!!!! :D Didn't think I was going to win, some nice systems there.

Than on Sunday I heard there was a MECA show at the GLD raceway on Imports day every month. Decided to go anyway to show some imports what's up and you'll never guess, I WON AGAIN!!!!!!!

Bad news is that I got sunburned some, we all did, I kid napped 2 of my buddies and didn't take them home till Sunday night. Well worth it though and would/will do it again  Gotta live it up while I can.

Thanks everyone, I was very suprised myself. My ssei was one of the nicest cars at both events. Only 3.8 too. DEFINITLY looking forward to the next couple of shows. I've got some things I want to change and try to increase my imaging.

Thinking of moving my tweets to the A-pillar and maybe even point them at the glass to get even longer path to my ears. Since new a-pillars might as well throw some gauges in there. Can't wait for TY forever. Also thinking of flush mounting my amps and maybe even get some plexi etched infront of each side, than get carpet panel to "stealth" it.

Not a durango was it?
Yes a Durago 5.9 RT and yes 80 large in the stereo. In the hatch pic, the chrome pieces are motorized Tv's and playstation remotes, thing was crazy, every thing was glass and airbrushed with fine detail. Thing had 3 waterfalls and the "bubbling glass" as the rear side window. 22in rims, airbags susp. and lots of other goodies, he was at both days as well.

Proud to represent for the Bonnevilles out there!
Many awards coming soon I hope.

Very nice Taylor! You mentioned something about doing some 1/4's did you get any in?

Well live and learn, being Import day and all, didn't get much track time, ran once right when I got there and pulled 14.9 with heat soak, then registered at the stereo comp, the judge kinda ignored the SQ cars and wouldn't tell me when I was getting judged, woent most of the day waiting for the judge, after wards got in line and got one cold engine run in with a terriable launch=lots of wheel spin and pulled 14.8. after that the track closed.

Now I know don't try to race and show in the same event, I thought it would be more orginized, the track was fine just the MECA show wasn't.

Have to work 6am-6pm for next two weeks but week after I'm going to the track to work on my launches and try to set a PB for myself, the two times I was at the track didn't get much in due to rain the first time and this the second.

The weekend of May 15-16th is ILGPC track outing sponsered by Intense, Were having a mod day on Saturday and have bracket racing setup for Sunday. Hoping to get to the track 1 or 2 times before that and see what I can come up with. Hoping to have my TOG's on by then, but maybe not.
