hey yall, i need to get tires, a nail killed my rs-a finally. i got a good deal on pirellis on tirerack.com. I was going to just go to a local tire place around here. they want twice as much for them. any opinions on a decent tire that wont be 200 bucks a pop?

well, i shopped around and dobbs had cooper zeon sport all-season tires. they were 164 installed each(with road hazzard). the tread pattern and wear rating looks good. we'll see.

Why not just buy the Pirellis and have them installed locally? They're a hell of a tire. I haven't seen them in the winter yet, but I put a set on the 02 SSEi last spring.

id like to, but i didnt wanna drive on a spare for a few days(or a week) waiting for it to arrive. especially because i drive 52 miles to/from work everyday. well, at least this way, i have a road hazzard warranty if another nail decides to make a residence in my tire. i will be regretting this if these tires suck, though. the people i have talked to with cooper tires like'em, though. with my luck, my pirellis will pop now.

I don't remember what I paid for my tires, but I'm happy with the Good year Assurance triple tread. They are nice in the winter, and also get decent grip in the summer
