What scan tool do you have? (OBD1)
My birthday is in a few days, and I am looking at getting a scan tool. What model and brand scan tool do yall have that reads OBD1? Right now I am looking at getting the Actron CP9145 from Autozone. I need to get one for my Camaro and for my tranny problems on my Bonneville.

As you may already know, you will need an additional cable to go with the CP9145 to read the OBDI codes, or buy the CP9150 kit which comes complete with the cables for both.
In either case I guess I'd wait to here from those here that have this scanner (quite a few do) to find out if it will even read the trans codes. It was my understanding that it wouldn't, but I don't have one to say for sure.
Oh, and welcome back Andrew...

I have the CP9145. It does have data parameters theat show tc slip and tc lock, as well as engine rpms on the 93'* that I have used it on (2 of them so far).

Again, maybe not the best scanner in the world, but for GM OBD I cars, provides quite a bit of data for the price.
