My Bonnie needs a bra... Thoughts?
I'd like to put a bra on my 2000 SE, because the paint on the little "pontiac" sign in the front is chipping off. I've found a couple different brands, and I was just curious as to how you all think it will look. Anyone with a pic of a 2000 or newer with a bra on would be great.

You should be fine with it on there. Just make sure that when you wash your car to remove the bra.
Or else just put it on when you travel on highways and take it off when not. The whole paint/clearcoat ruining is from lazy people that put it on there and dont take proper care of their car.

My bra is fine (hood protector, not a full bra), but yours is likely to be BAD NEWS.

I'd say you can get away with it for trips, but don't leave it on for more then a few days. I haven't seen any ill effects from leaving mine on for extended periods of time, after the car gets dirty, but i don't like to leave it on after it'* dirty/wet.
It has helped IMENSELY on road trips. I first used it going 700 miles to Illinois. No more extra dings on my hood now.

Guys, I know it'* hard to keep up with all the posts, but we've had VERY bad results from 3 different 2k+ cars with bras. I wouldn't put one on for even a trip. The reason? We simply don't know what causes the discoloration. It'* likely to be moisture, but we don't KNOW.
I leave mine on long-term, even in the winter with no issues, but the primer, paint, and clearcoat on the alumunim-hooded 2k models are totally different.
If it were me, I wouldn't even consider it.
