Exclamation need help

Hey does anyone have any information on a good cold air/ram air intake for 1997 bonneville SE? i could only find one from Weapon-R. i was wondering if anyone out there has an after market intake for that year or series 2 engine, that would work on my car. im ordering a supercharger for my car and want a better-than-stock system to boost the flow of the intake to the supercharger to get better performance.

Thanks
Bret

Are you talking like a hood scoop? No, there are no hoods avalible. You need to make it if you want one. I have a link at home, I'll post that when I get there. Also, ram air wont do much good on a supercharged engine. You need to be moving about 125mph to over come the supercharger. They are nice for cooling the engine and supercharger though.

Well, the one you listed there keeps the filter in the engine compartment. You don't want that. You want to take in cool air, not hot engine bay air. You can use this.

We have read many a report here that indicate in real tests..... Ram Air Does Not Work. I'm not knocking the look, and manufacturers only used them for that purpose. Looks. But you can not get a street car to speeds that will help boost pressures. Unless your doing it for cosmetic reasons, spend your money on a cold air like what Danthurs shows. Also ZZP makes them as well ZZPerformance
