Hi, I have some questions and they may seem stupid but not as dumb as not asking.
1. what is the purpous of drilling out a T-stat and what is the best way to go about doing it?
2. will the throttle body from a 98 L67 fit on a 98 L36?

from techinfo:
About the only thing these cars really have in common other than outside appearance is the Throttle Body.

that was from the article about supercharging a NA engine...so are they interchangeable or not?

Throttle bodies from L67 to L36 are FAR from being even remotely compatible. Even if it would bolt up, you'd gain nothing.

That ATI is a centrifugal supercharger versus the roots style we have, which does allow for slightly more boost that the roots can. Well, it generates less heat at the same boost, I should say, thus allowing the ability to feed more to the intake. So it will cost a bit more.
