Moved to General chat. This isn't mechanical related.

Anyhoo. I don't see how its street legal. 1. He has 2 different NY plates.(one of which is probably fake)2. No registration/inspection sticker in the windshield.(even Historical vehicles in NY are required to have them) 3. He'* required to have a hood installed to be driven on public roads(yes I have asked about this once)4. Those racing slicks sure look legal for NY roads.

But, would I like to have it? Your garsh darn right I would sell my soon to be ex wife for it.

for me though the car looses its appeal without the turbo 3.8, that was what the whole car was about. ive seen cars just as fast with that engine still, and there is no mistaking that noise they make staging.

as far as the plate i think he fixed the front one on the computer, you see what custom plates go for in ny now? thankfully next year i can get historic plates that are about 30 a year. and insurance will be like 200, and no more emissions inspection
