If memory serves me correctly...

1) There's a somewhat circular plastic piece behind the door handle. Pop it off.

2) Remove the plastic manual door lock thing. It pulls off, although it might take some effort

3) Remove the bigger plastic piece from behind the door handle.

4) Remove and disconnect the power window / power locks control panel.

5) Remove some screws

6) Remove the plastic thing that has the power mirror control and keypad illumination light, disconnecting wires as appropriate.

6) When you get all of the small stuff disconnected, the door panel pulls off. It's held on by plastic clips, so work your way around the edges, gently prying the panel away from the door.

At least, that's how I remember it. In any case, just go slowly and remove the things that obviously should come off.

I don't know if you mentioned the lights on the door, under the armrest. You pop that light out and there are 2 screws behind it, there is also a screw behind the handle that opens the door and there is a screw under neath the area that the powerwindow control is at and finally there are 2 screw by the front lower edge, next to and below the 5.25" speaker. Once you get all those removed, you can pop the door off. Be careful if you decide to use a screwdriver for leverage, as you can scratch your painted part of the door. I've done this soo many times...

How do I remove the door panels from a 1992 Bonneville so that I can remove the factory speakers?

Another question about audio stuff, how do I remove the rear speakers? Hey sorry to hear about the car. That sux.

The rear deck was pretty easy compared to the front. I found it was easier to get to them from the back seat, all I did was pop the trim cover, and there they are. The hard part was getting a screwdriver between the deck and the rear window. Also, my new speakers didn't quite fit in the plastic speaker holder thingy, so I had to drill a file a little.

With the fronts, there are three bolts, one under the Mirror switch/keypad illumination light and two behind the light in the armrest.
