Default Clarification

Im hoping someone can enlighten me on this: But are the oil pressure switch and the oil pressure sender two different things? my oil gauge is at a constant 120 and i kno its the sender, so im lookin to replace it. but all i keep finding is the oil pressure switch when i look for replacement parts.
