Default L36 & L67

I talk to my machanic today after having many pullies replaced. He says there is no difference internally between a Series 2 NA and a Series 2 L67. "Its just a regular 3800 with a supercharger on top " He says the only differences are software with the PCM and a beifed up tranny. He also said the Regal GNX had a 4.3L.

Ya, I can't find a single mechanic around that can pass my "quizes". No joke they all fail.

I was told he was the most reputable shop in town. I didn't have time to run through the questions this morning so I did when I picked the car up. Lukely, he dosen't actually do the repairs. He is the owner so he has the hired mechanics do that. But is is the owner/ head mechanic and "checks" their work. He probably just looks and says ok.

Just like when I had a bad BCS, and my mechanic told me the supercharger was old and worn out and quoted me $750 to install another one.
