Goodbye
Today my Bonneville'* transaxle gave up the ghost. 163K. For the past couple thousand it had had a vibration and had been baking the fluid. I'm guessing it was the differential. Well, today it revved up, and the car ceased to move. Thus went another 4T60E (hey, it lasted a lot longer than any Chrysler tranny!)
The car is not worth fixing. the water pump is also shot, and the drivers side mirror and driver'* seatbelt are also broken. I'm stripping it and then junking it.
As for another car, I am looking at getting a Toyota Camry. Lemming car, I know, but 30mpg sure sounds nice to a broke college student
So, I would just like to bid everyone here farewell, I had a lot of fun here. Especially the Rat, if he'* still around. Goodbye!

I hate to see you give up the Bonneville. I'm just starting to look at getting one.
I can tell you that the Camry is a heck of a fine car. One of our salesmen just retired one with 400,000 miles on it. Another employee bought it and is now using it as a daily driver.
