I don't know if this would be considered off topic lounge material or not, I guess that's why we have admins, but...
Alas, whatever happened to the “good ol’ days”, when automakers put those little touches in their cars that just finished them off. Take my daughter’s ’63 Star Chief, for instance. The headliner and visor material has little starts stamped in it. And check out this classic high beam indicator – and Indian head silhouette! Is that COOL or what? Anybody else got a beam indicator this bodacious?

The high beam indicator on my Civic comes on very dimly with the daytime running lights... does that count? :oops:

that is cool! Unfortunately, I think there's certain standards that must be met now-a-days by carmakers so that they cannot do that sort of thing anymore. Things need to be universal so people can figure them out. :(
