in addition to seat position, it also controls the radio presets and the outside rear mirror settings. If it does control the HVAC I haven't figured it out yet.

It must also control the HVAC on the 04'*. Don't ask me how.
If you are thinking of getting a GXP, by all means do it. I LUV mine. Crimson exterior / Charcoal interior. The thing kicks A$$!!!

I drove a GP GXP and GP GTP before buying my Bonneville GXP even tho I knew there was no way in hell I was buying another GP. It was nice and all, but the Bville GXP was FAR better. I personally like cars with all six analog gauges and I liked the shape of the Bville GXP much better than the GP GTP/GXP especially from the side. I did like the HUD on the GP GXP better than the Bonneville GXP but everything else on the Bonneville was more to my liking.

factory sound systems are mostly bland. The Bonnie GXP'* is good, although I would mind adding a better sub.
No way on an STS. The GXP handles better, looks better, stole the Caddy V8 and did more with it. Everyone knows the STS. If you want people to look twice at your car get the GXP. I always have people asking me about it since it doesn't look like any other Pontiac. The clean lines on the GXP make people think it is something else. It had low production numbers, which means there aren't going to be alot of people around with cars like yours. THe pearl white is a very sharp color.
