Need Bonneville owners' assistance
Hello again to all those I knew back in the day. I have a favor to ask to those of you who own GM service manuals. Myself and my buddy are gathering data on adapting the bonneville rear auto leveling air suspenion to our w-bodies. The problem with the w-body is that the rear springs are soft to prevent a harsh ride, which unfortunately results in the feared *** sag that I used to get with my bonne back when it had an air line leak. What we need are any diagrams of the rear air suspension that we can get our hands on. Feel free to post here, email me or hit me up on aim (MSUhussey).

Lee, I'm not sure if this will help, but it may have value in strut selection:

Also, the ELC system involves a 'black box', the sensor on the right rear suspension, a solonoid valve (which you won't need unless you also want the utility inflator), the struts, compressor, and some tubing. Not much else.
My FSM'* are out on loan right now, but I'd say it would be fairly simple to convert, however, most wreckers want 90-100 bones just for the magic compressor. Readily available though. Alot of caddies have them too.

We are not going to go through the pain of tapping into the evap core. Most likely it will be a small closed system with a remote compressor and tank in the trunk. We do need to use that actuator arm though and I know of what you speak, I used to play with it.
Now for the complex part. Bonnevilles at least your generation use shocks in the back, with the springs resting on the lower control arm. W bodies have struts in the back, with the coil mounted to a bracket on the strut itself. Any idea if the newer gen bonnevilles have a new system or the same system you have? How about the caddies?
I need rear bags with a mounting brackets just like strut on the left, which is a rear strut. There is room there for the bag to be below the spring mount, but then there is the problem of the rear sway bar mounts, which is a whole different issue.
We are just hoping that some GM vehicle has the parts we need as OEM options. The quest continues.
