Default Complete L36 for $50

Yes folks, you read it right. This week I'm getting my hands on a complete L36 from a 97 or 98 Park Avenue for only $50. It sure pays to have friends in the used car business.

I guess the motor is making noise as if it has a bad rod, and the last person who drove it overheated it, so I'll have to see what shape it'* in. Hopefully I'll be able to use the heads, lower intake, exhaust manifolds, throttle body, and maybe the pistons and the engine block. I'll keep you guys updated.

The hole engine minus the UIM? lol

If it'* been overheated check the heads and the block for cracking and warpage.

Lol, I left the UIM out on purpose. I'm looking to mkaake for a TB adapter so I can make the switch to the aluminum upper. I'm not going to bother switching out another composite upper unless mine starts leaking coolant before I get the aluminum piece. I'll definitely have the heads and block checked before trying to use them. I'm just hoping like crazy that everything is in good shape! $50! I nearly laid an egg when he quoted me that price!

Roger that good buddy.

Actually I just found out I'm only getting the basic parts...... block, heads, intakes, etc. No TB, sensors, or coil packs. No big deal though, I think I'm still getting a great deal if the block and heads check out alright.

I think you sparked Lakeville to look for a series 2...and if I'm not mistaken I think he found one.
