Default Great score!!!!

Well, I have been looking for a set of '96 - '99 headlights to mod and fit on the '93. So, this morning I am sitting outside BSing with a guy I work with talking about his '97 SSEi and through the conversation he tells me that he has a BRAND NEW set of headlights in his trunk that he got after he hit a deer. He said they were a little bit loose and they were not GM originals so he made the bodyshop get him new ones that were GM, but they are still loose a bit also.

Anyways, he GAVE them to me for free Brackets and everything

I tell ya, the '93 is really gonna look sharp by the end of the summer.... The sound is going to change soon as well

I thought about soing the '96-'99 Conversion too, I found a cheap set but I jumped to late. Plus I couldn't use my headlight covers if I did. lol

Ya can't beat free!

hmmmm, taking a closer look at them they ARE GM They say GP right on the lense. It looks like I will need some brackets though, the adjusters are broken and one bracket is cracked. I guess that is where the "looseness" came from. The first shot they must have only replaced the headlights and not the brackets

Oh well, I am sure I can get some brackets much cheaper then the headlights

Jees, I dont understand whats wrong with 92-95 headlights, I like them so much more than the 96-99s. Not to mention that glass headlights are so much easier to clean, never delam or fog, and just seem so much more THERE.

I don't have a problem with my headlights whatsoever. They provide ample light for me to see the road, and they look good. Can't argue with that logic.

I guess I am just one of those people that absolutely like to keep my car'* exterior as stock looking as possible.

also sorry to thread jack but do i only have to fabricate and modify the bracket for the lights or are the lights not going to match up with my grill and corner lights.? thanks

Next time you're BSing in the parking lot, say to the guy, "I 've been looking around for a suitcase full of cash."
