Back to the dealer for me....

So, I decide to look under my hood for the hell of it tonight...ya, NO CAP ON THE COOLANT RESERVOIR....

You know the cap you have to take off to refill the coolant...its gone , and once in for all I'm going to find out why the car refuses to start up properly after sitting for a while...

Slack asses.... damn that sucks to have paid all that money, and for them to forget something as simple a res cap. Almost makes you wonder if/what else they forgot?

I used to goto the dealer for all my Bonnie'* aches and pains. I stumbled upon a foreign auto repair shop, in a little corner of town, that everyone raves about.... been going to him for 2 years now... the best 2 years of my Bonnies life.

EG
Used to go thru tie rods ends like water.... must have replaced them 3 or 4 times. Took it to the foreign repair shop, instantly told me the reason was because my struts had been shot for 4 years or more.

Oh...lol, they threw in a nice Bonneville medaillion key chain for me

I go to my dealership for my repairs. I haven't had anything huge done, but am thinking about it soon. Either my bearings or struts need fixing, and probably a wheel alignment. I trust them so far, but hope to God I don't get raped.

I don't let them wash my car though. That I don't trust them to do! And won't go to their body shop again either

Well, of course they do; they keep losing them all the time. You understand you _could_ just go down to AutoZone or someplace like that and get a MotorMite "HELP!" lookalike replacement for $3, right? But if the dealer is paying for it, let 'em get you an original. (Just out of curiosity, what'* it going to cost them?)

Um, "STB"?

I got a nice Pontiac jacket from my dealer some years back. It'* going round and round in the washing machine as I type this. Need to get a smaller one now, though; the one I have is Xtra Large but I've slimmed down to a Medium/Large size...

Hee hee...I love the Q and A format Andy...

We don't have an AutoZone in Canada, the best we have is NAPA and Canadian Tire, both were closed this morning, so I got ghetto and used a plastic baggy and an elastic. No pressure in the res, so I'm not to worried, if it was the rad cap, I'd be screwed. The dealer is going to order a new cap free of charge...there mistake. So far I have gotten a Vac Connection manifold and now a res cap for free.

STB is a strut tower brace...I join the ranks or Jr, Merlin1 theJMFC and Azwed...these fellerz have 92+ Bonneville STBs on their 87-91 model.

And yes..its a nice keychain, it says Bonneville on it

Hey, I want one!! I have one now but it only says Pontiac. I looked all over for one that said Bonneville but couldn't find any. Do they sell those anywhere?
