Will This bonnie be able to take what a 17 year old kid does
Well I am buying my uncles 1995 Pontiac Bonneville SE with 114k miles totaly loaded with like almost every option i.e. leather dual power seats air bags electric sunroof center console shifter traction control and many other nice goodies and my question is will this bonnie be able to take the abuse of a 17 year old kid that likes to drive recklessly burn rubber and accelerate to the speed limit unnessisarly fast?
The car has 114k miles Engine was totaly rebuilt at 88k he says he has some good stuff put into the engine rebuild cost him alot he says plus new intake manifold at 88k he did regular maintance like tranny flushes radiator flushes tune ups regular oil changes wasn't mean to the car think it will be able to take my abuse and last me a good long time?
The best car i have ever had that took alot of abuse was a 1987 pontiac 6000-le that baby took 11 months of abuse from me and keep on chugging

Well, apparently I drive like a 17 year old , and my 98 has lasted the year. I'd say, if the price is right grab it.
I'd give the car at least a year. Probably more. I still do burnouts, quick starts, 60-80 mph bursts and all that in mine.

You will probably be good to 150K. After that maintenance will begin to happen at a fast pace. Be prepared to spend close to 5K$ between 150K and 180K miles. Overall if the price is good and the car is in good shape I would purchase it. My 95 Bonneville has served me well even though Maintenance items were high during the last 30K miles.

i'm going to say 3-5 years. i've had my '95 SE for a year now and it'* held up fine, and quite frankly, i haven't been easy on it... the one thing i don't do is burnouts, i would recommend against doing burnouts. also, N drops are a No No, it shouldn't take more than 4-5 of those to frag your tranny. basically keep up on the regular maintence, watch the coolant like a hawk, and watch the oil (you will burn some oil), and keep a good oil in it, and take care of the tranny. you should be ok. but burnouts i would highly recommend against, and N drops are out of the question...
