Wheel Preference (93-94 SSE)
I'm new to this forum so I hope I'm not posting something already covered, but I wanted to get your opinion on weather you prefer the 93-95 Crosslace wheels, or the 94-95 5spoke wheels (NOT to be confused with the 1992-95 SE Blade wheels), Thanks!

I vote for not crosslace...they are harder than heck to clean. Not to say some people can't, Willwren'* are gorgeous still but I've seen some (mine) that have kinda shown their age.

Silver crosslaces. My opinion is that it maks the car look more full, aggresive and sexy. If you find yourself having a hard time washing them, get some bleach-white and spray on the wheels before you wash them.

I think the crosslaces are the best on an SE, color determinent on the body color.
the Torque stars are best on 96-99 SSEis...
And on the 00+* i like the 5 angled spokes, not the 6 swoops the best. Probably contrary to popular opinion.
The 99-91 SSE wheels are a nice touch too!

I've started to like my crosslaces again, but only due to the Ceramic brake pads. Cleaning the crosslaces can be a BEEEOTCH when doing it by hand, otherwise I just spray em at the pressure wash (or use the new pressure washer at home).
With the ceramic pads there is dust, but it'* hardly noticable. I put them on Saturday and have put over 350 miles on since (some of them 1/4 mile at a time) with some extremely heavy braking. The front still LOOK as clean as the backs.
But, yes, I agree that the 1994-1999 5-spokers are #1 for the vintage. I hope to have a set in place of the crosslaces soon.
