what to do
I have money to put into my car, I push my car (im 18 yrs old) and love it to perform well
I just got a job that i have to commute alot and i was wondering what to do to my car to help its efficency and life.
I pretty much asking whats a ideal mod to help it perform.
I think i wanna get brand new spark plugs and shocks.

first off, what kind/year of car do you have? ( it helps to put it in you siggy, i'll assume its a bonneville)
have you done anything to the car at all?
a cai is a good first performance and efficiency thing, and a 180* thermostat is another good first one too
try here first:

tech info (at the top of the page) is a good place to start

Also read up on the uim/lim failure thread. At least enough to know what you need to do when you have a catastrophic failure and what those signs are as well as how to know when your in the beginning stages (coolant loss with no observable leaks)
