Default Killed a Cutlass Cierra

Mid-90s it looked like. The guy kept revving it on me, and I just got tired of it. Dropped the Tranny into 3rd at the Red light, and then let it rip. I out-torqued him at the start, then he seemed to gain a little, then by 40 mph, I had a car length on him.

I raced a Cutlass Ciera once, only I was in my sisters Beretta Z26 and the kid driving the Ciera is one of my friends. We were going as a group (there were 3 of us in my car, and 4 in his) to laser tag and I was following him. I pulled up next to him at a light, threw it into neutral and revved it just playing around. He revved back, so I threw her into 2nd and brake torqued to 2500 (it isn't my tranny, I didn't care), light went green we both took off, with me chirping the tires, him not doing much of anything. I was ahead by 1 and a half cars at 50 when I let off, but they weren't done, they pulled up next to me, rolled down the windows and all gave me the finger, now these are all of my very good friends so I responded with a nice foot to the floor and it was on again, he did the same. Then I let off at 70 remembering that we were driving through the middle of town in sort of a residential area and were only about 1 block from the police station. I didn't feel like killing anyone or getting a ticket so I let off. He wasn't done, but I was. Evidently there is someone more careless about where they race than me...wow. When we got to the laser tag one of the passengers in the Ciera asked me why I let off, because he knows I am the type that doesn't usually back down first in a race, and I told him flat out that I'm not that big of an idiot and would like to keep my license, and not kill any little kids. He responeded with a ha, pansy, and I didn't care, because I still have a license, and didn't kill any little kids that night.

Now that I think about it, I did a lot of really stupid things within the first month I had my license, I learned real quick not to do some of those things after thinking about it later that day and realizing all of the things that COULD have happened. I choose not to be one of those people that gets their license suspended for going double the limit in a residential neighborhood.

Anyways, I'm sorry, got a little sidetracked thinking about how much of an idiot I am, and realizing why my sisters car ran like crap after I drove it for a week. Sounds like you had a nice kill there. Congrats!

Its actually a pretty nice little car. And having 160hp and only weighing in at 2800lbs. it moves pretty good. Not fast by any means, but not slow. IIRC it does mid 8'* 0-60. It is a little minature car, and isn't horribly nice, but it really isn't that bad. It was taken well care of, and since it is a Z26 it has the good suspension, exhaust, wheels, and ground effects. I wouldn't want it, but for the average driver it is nice.

my uncle has a cutlass ciera w/ the 3100. he always tells me how fast it is, telling me stories of doing huge burnouts etc etc. in person, i usually keep my comments to myself, so i let it go. then he gets his wife a Kia Optima, with the optional v-6, telling me its faster than some SPORTS CARS, how its the #1 sport car/sedan in america (last year). exactly what i said to him "Glenn, my car isn't even close to being considered the #1 sprots sedan in america, but i would rape your kia in a race" then he says "you'd be suprised" i ended it with "one word, V-fuc**** 8" where still supposed to line up somtime i better be ready lol, j/k

some people are so full of b.*.
