Forgeting the Monte Carlo to.

The Impala was called out too and the car isn't compact. It is 2 inches shorter than the Bonny but alot less hp than the '95.

You guys see the November Popular Mechanics? Page 88, "Tale of Two Chevys". They ran a bone stock Monte Carlo SS Dale Earnhardt Signature Edition against a NASCAR Monte Carlo. Joe Nemechek drove both at VIR. Joe was surprised at how well the MCSS did....very surprised. Power of the 3800! Great article....and NO I will NOT scan it and post it. Well, maybe if Amy shows me a little more leg.....

PF78 What do you mean a lot less HP than a 95...??? The monte's through 97 used a 3100 v6.. Sad... But there was an option, the 3.4 DOHC V6 215 Hp... As of 98 there was no longer the 3.4 DOHC but instead a 3800 V6... That engine made 195 and in the more recent has gone up to 200.. the Na Bonnies make 205 from 95 on... So the Montes are almost equals to the Bonnevilles... And will give us a run for our money... |
