2000 bonneville package ID
So i'm trying to figure how to tell the difference an SE and SLE model. This car i'm looking to buy is sayin its an SLE, but the fog lights are out in the corners and it doesnt have the chrome wheels. It is loaded inside though - leather, dual pwr seats, dual climate control, premium sound, but no sunroof. Is there a place on the net to look the VIN up? Any help is appreciated.

In 2000, you should be able to tell by your VIN number. The model number is encoded in characters 4-5.
HX - SE
HY - SLE
HZ - SSEi
Although in later model years, my dealer tells me that HZ is used for both SLE and GXP but an RPO code differentiates them.
EDIT: Trim Line / Series (Characters 4-5).
