How do you clean your honeycomb wheels?
I've tried Armor All Quiksilver II, Eagle One, and many other foaming wheel cleaners and have not been thoroughly impressed. Just a toothbrush and some soapy water works, but is a pain in the *** for such ugly wheels.
What do you use? How well does it work?

I found some wheel brushes that resemble sponges on a stick, a big one and a little one. A little soapy water followed with some Simple Green works great, still a PITA though.

I have some serious Black crud on mine, and it takes a steel brush to get it off, the brass brush did some too, but it wasn't nearly as strong as the steel. Anyone know of anything that will eat it off but keep the wheel intact or atleast help loosen it up? I Don't wanna sand it down, but if I really really have to.
And by the way, they are either Wire-spoke or Cross laces on these forums

Any old wheel cleaner and a toothbrush. But some brake dust hasn't come off since over the winter I think it was left on. I use a light touch with a brillo pad to help get the stain from the dust off. PITA yes, but they look good clean. I just have to clean them often or they will stain and it will be harder to get them very clean, especially in very hot, dry weather.
