Need opinions/advice
I was planning to have my car repainted this week but now I am having second thoughts, consider this:
My a/c compressor is has a leak so my a/c dont work
my elc/ccr doesnt work, i pulled codes and 3 of the struts and the switch assemly threw codes
i'm missing an exhaust tip
i've got almost 129k miles
my oil pan is dented in so far that it lost a quart of capacity
i have a small misfire that i've been chasing for months and cant seem to catch
my */c needs a coupler
i notice paint chipping in spots that cant be reached without disassembly
and finally the best i can afford as far as a paint job is concerned is an $800 maaco job
do you guys think it'* worth it or should i save my $ for other repairs or new car?

Ouch...well I want my car repainted too because it is mismatched in back because of a bunch of retarded guys at a body shop...but I have maintenace issues as well that are really needed and not just cosmetic defects.. As much as I'd like new paint I have it on the back burner and hopefully next year I can get it done.
It doesn't seem like the problems you are having are HORRIBLE though, but they do need attention. Do you want your ELC and CCR to work? How important are those things to you? If they aren't a big deal then focus on the small things like the SC coupler, and take care of those small cosmetic things when you have time. You still have fairly low miles, and if you plan on keeping the car for a while and the paint is bad, get it painted. $800 for a paint job doesn't sound bad at all.
I think I've seen those Maaco commercials...are they even any good?

If you have a good u-pull-it and technical know how a couple of those problems could be solved rather cheaply.
An $800 paint job from maaco will look good. (I worked there) But I'd suggest going to a corporate maaco. Around me the difference is night and day.

1. fresh paint'* not going to do any good if the car isn't right,
2. $800 for a paint job? Pfft! you DON"T wanna do that seriously.......
3. Money on a BS paint job is o.k if you decide to get rid of it soon.......
If you decide to keep, keep the car running like a champ and then go for the goodies Trust me, I've seen a lot of backwards people that would be satisfied with paint and wheels over engine and basic upkeep; Be patient,

Alrighty, here'* my .02 (it'* actually worth much less )
That list of problems seems a bit daunting, as Pete said they can be fixed if you don't care for certain parts. HOWEVER, if you've been noticing a car or two that you really like but is affordable for you. I say dump the Bonne and go for it. But if you have a really strong bond to it, I say try to fix it first. But I had to actually give you advice, I would say just get rid of the car and get a better Bonne or a car equipped with a L67 (that'* newer)

This almost reminds me of a dog joke. Something about only 3 legs, blind, missing tail and goes by the name of Lucky.
Sorry man.
