Default Been Busy working in the Bonne

Last week I repainted the engine. I got tired of the gloss black clear coated engine. I painted the valve covers and various other things ford blue. I clear coated it too (all high temp paints). I am dissapointed in the clearcoat. Discolored the ford blue after the engine got warm. I also went to the truck section of pep boys and got some chrome flames, put one on the front valve cover and two on the front grill, one on each side of the center pont. circle thing. Today I replaced all the vacuum line (used pretty blue ones). It all looks pretty good. The flames on the grill look so awesome! I will have to post pictures later.

Ford Blue on a buick engine? i dunno....sounds fishy. :?

It started out as a joke. My brother painted his ford t-birds valve covers chevrolet orange, so I said HA, I'll paint mine ford blue. I like the look. Needs some more detailing thought.

I do miss the black though:
