1992 Bonneville Heating Problems, Help needed.
Hi guys, im fresh here so i dont even know if im doing a right thing in terms of visibility of this post and on but sure hope atleast some of you would be able to check it out as i need help:
I have just recently bought 1992 SSEi and completely messed up on purchase as i overlooked some weird heating problem. The climate control wont turn on middle position, theres no head coming out of front vents at all? Can anyone guide me toward the problem? Also, to make things worst: when the blower motor blows, at times not even the windshield being warmed nothing, no vents wont open or so it seam to be, and if they do, usually the air still comes out cold, even though the car is warmed up pretty well. Please advise! any advise is appreciated, since i have my usual suspects such as some sort of weirdo electronic problem and some wrong w/thermostat, but still need ur advise! thank you!

im sure one of the gearheads will chime in soon, there are many members here that know these cars inside out

I would say as far as the cold air Bad thermo or clogged heater core..ANd the whole vent thing i beleive to be an air mix actuator ...if its blowing but not coming out

Guys, so i figured out what it is. Its not T-stat or Clogged core, its freaking computer module that controls head openings of valves that pass or bypass air in and out. that thing completely lost its mind, so i forced the flaps open inside the vent tubing, kinda jamming them open. heat now comes out fine but again only from floor and windshield and none from upfront. That front no heat prob actually same module, so i suppose i could pry those flaps to but i cant get to them as of now as its cold as hell. so hope that will help u in future if ull have some probs w/it as well.
