I think I have air in my lines. What are the procedures of bleeding brakes?

Did you recently do any work on your brakes? Usually you never have to bleed the brakes unless you open up the brake lines(at the calipers/wheel cylinders). What are your symptoms that you think there might be air in your system? Low brake pedal? Do you have rear drum brakes, if so they might need adjusting. Also, one of your wheel cylinders could be leaking. Master Cylinder problem. You could just bleed the system but if you don't check out the cause of your low pedal, just bleeding the system won't solve your problem.

Anyway, to bleed the system you start with the wheel farthest from the MC. So it would be Right Rear, Left Rear, Right Front, Left Front. Dont't forget to refill the MC after you bleed each brake line. I hope this helps.

Oh yeah, one other thing I would do before you start bleeding the brakes. Suck out most of the brake fluid in the MC(with a turkey baster or equivalent) and replace it with fresh fluid. No sense pumping old fluid through the system.

True, but like I said once(twice?) before, just ask the guys that designed the Bonneville........the Accountants!!!
