Oil FIlters
There was a study of oil filters and most Fram models faired poorly. For my Bonnies, I only buy the AC Delco filters now. Mobil One Synthetic and AC Delco filters

PERSONALLY
I dont care what l filter I use...an oil filter is an oil filter(imo) i just use the wix or the napa.. or the quakerstate ones.. I gotta change it every 3k anyway...

Dont all oil filters have to pass some type of industry standard? I remember in the 1970s STP (I believe it was) was forced to recall almost al their filters becaus the filte material was decompsing at a very rapid rate.

Yeah well frams fall apart and dont work well when they are in one piece, nuff said. Just take your money somewhere else and get a good filter for the same or less money..

In gasoline-fueled engines using AMSOIL XL-7500 Synthetic Motor Oil, change the filter at 7,500-mile or six-month intervals. If a Hastings or other filter is used, filter should be changed at manufacturer recommendations.
In diesel-fueled large truck engines, change the filter(*) at the engine manufacturer'* recommended oil change interval. In diesel-fueled light trucks, including pickups and vans, change the filter at 7,000-mile or six-month intervals.
When using an AMSOIL Oil Filter with conventional motor oils, refer to the owner'* manual for the recommended oil filter change interval.

I've always run the K&N high performance filters.. on my s10, anyone tried one on a bonne? im just curious plus i like the lil 1" nut on the end of the can to make it easier to get the thing off also, what are some opinions on Royal purple motor oil?

We just use the AC-Delco PF-47 on all of our cars. (Except the truck, its got a 350 in it) But we put the PF-47 Delco in the '90 Turbo Grand Prix, '93 Olds 88, '95 Beretta Z26, '00 SSEi, and '02 GTP with absolutely no problems. IMO the AC-Delco filter is a very good filter, probably not the best, but not a bad filter by any means.
