Default Why is the SSEi dropped next tear?

All this time I am thinking that it will be 4 trim levels when all in all, the SSEi is dead. THe GXP is going to take its place. Can you all believe this?

GTP is for the L67 I suppose.

4 trim levels could get confusing for consumers I suppose?

I have been looking at all of the GXP post but never seen anyone mention the SSEi dropping to the GXP. I don't even remember the Auto Show saying that. Dammit. Oh well.

I never read anywhere that the SSEi was being dropped when I first heard about the GXP. I just simply assumed the GXP was taking its place. Then I read it on here, and that confirmed it, but that is what I assumed was happening, you can't expect GM to have 2 performance versions of the same car...that would be like having a Corvette ZO6 and a ZO6 GT or something. That is too bad though. It is really a shame that they are putting a 285hp V8 in it and it is going to weight (from what I have read, I am not positive) 150lbs. more than the current SSEi. So it will be roughly 4000lbs. Anyways, I wouldn't want one, that 4 valve per cylinder crap isn't for me, I understand it is good technology, but I would rather have the simple pushrod design with a blower and 2 less cylinders instead, but that is just me.
