Default Got some new tires (update on page 2 about some diff. tires)

Tonight a buddy of mine gave me 3 of these for free. He got new ones and said i could just have them http://www.subarureview.com/showreview.php?id=1022 He said he paid a little less then 200 a piece. The only thing is that they are 205 50 r16'*, so they are shorter then my rears which are 225'*. I think that my help my 60'* though. It will put more weight on the fronts and they are also wider. Any input guys?

205s are wider than 225?

I'm not sure but does two different size tires (front to back) mess with abs at all?

Isnt the 205 the height? and the 50 the width? or am i wrong. I am only going to run them at the track. I am going to mount them on some blackies and run them there. I run goodyear ultra grips on the street. Just when they get warm they go down quick and at the track they get warm. I went through a set at the track this summer. So i figured for free i would just run these at the track until the are gone.

205 is the width and 50 is the ratio of the sidewall height to the width if I recall.

yea they are free. I was just doing some research and it says that it will make the speedo be 6 mph to high, and also the tire will spin close to 100 more times in a mile. Wouldnt all this effect the trap speed? To the good or to the bad? Must be some experts in here.
