Ok, I'll give you that. There aren't too many out there putting up those kind of numbers.

I may not be a Ford fan but a 12 sec car is respectable in any make. Just save some of the Camaro's, Firebirds, Cadillacs, Lexuses (Lexi?) and the occaisional Porsche for us too! :beerchug:

I just race the 16 year olds who just bought a v6 camaro and think they are the fastest thing on the road. It really humbles them when they lose. And if I get beat by some beefed up iroc.... then I am humbled as well. :hail:

late body style monte-carlo ss and impala ss are easy prey for the most part. They've got the power, (LT1 v-8) but the car is just way to heavy. As for most F-Bodies, they give me trouble and its usually 50-50 with them. 98+ F-bodies with the LS1 engine are over my head, they are a very low 13 second car bone stock, I just cant compete. As for Grand Nationals, I've never had the pleasure of running one, but I hear that they are wicked fast.

You have gotta be the coolest ford owner out there. You are not contributing alot to the flame war with your honesty.
I think somebody owns a Bonneville and they're not telling us

Actually, what brought me to this board is I'm thinking of buying a mid 90's SSEi for a winter car, either that or a GTP. I love the super-charged cars and the potential they have. I was hopin to check out the after-market and it's lookin pretty good. How's insurance on these beasts?

A non supercharged isn't too bad usually. If it is the GTP or SSEi your rates will go up a descent amount more. Because of ages, driving records, etc... the only way to get even a good rough idea is to talk to an agent, or try to get an online quote.

Me personally: 25, clean record, multiple insured cars and house, history with the company, is around $80+ a month. Just to give you an idea. That is full coverage with all the trimmings too.
