The Bonnie Got Broken into last night...

I'm so pissed this morning, they stole my new 5 month old radio and they broke my plastic wood covering in half, of course I have pics. Called the police and basically just filed a report and I was told a dectective will call me in 1 to 3 days. I asked the women, should I drive my car, because there are still good fingerprints in the car, the women laughed and told me when her house got broken into and everything stolen she thought the same thing and the police told her that's not important and they don't have the resources. Because theft is so high in Detroit, things like a stolen or broken into car get pushed to the bottom of the list           . I'm just glad they didn't steal the car.

Not to mention I just bought the new Musiq Soulchild cd which was in my radio so now my crooks have good music to listen too  . Also they didn't know what a GPS was so they didn't steal that, they just threw it on the floor.

Dude, that sucks. They even broke the trim bezel.

Do you park it in the street in the city? You might want to consider a gated parking lot.

I park in my driveway behind a closed gate, but today I gotta go to home depot and get a chain and lock too I'm so pissed.

Man, that sucks. My mom grew up in Hamtramck, and they always had their cars broken into. My grandfather had a 68? Rivera, and he had nice factory rims on it with 2 sets of locks on them, hoping they wouldn't get stolen, he woke up to leave for work one morning and found the car sitting ON THE GROUND, rims gone, chrome trim, badges, and even the shift handle. Some people are just total tools. Same thing happened to his Monte Carlo.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. About 6 years ago, someone broke the window in my '85 S-10 Blazer and stole 2 15" Rockford subs, 2 6x9" Pioneer 4-way speakers, my Directed 600d.1 sub amp, my L.A. Sound 600 watt amp, brand new Eclipse cd player, all of my cds, the idiots even stole my 20 year old CB radio and left the mic behind....

called the cops and they took some info, did NOT fingerprint anything. after about 2 years, they found the guy and now he owes me over $2,000 in restitution fees... in the 4 years since, I have seen a total of about $150

I HATE STUPID PEOPLE AND HAVE NO TOLERANCE FOR THIEVES.... FIND THE PEOPLE THAT DID THIS AND CUT THEIR HAND OFF...... THAT WILL MAKE SURE THEY DON'T DO IT AGAIN!!!!!!

Yes, I do feel VERY strong about this, it hurts and sucks and pisses you off... you work sooooo hard to be able to afford the stuff, then some assnine little punk comes and STEALS it.... ohhhhh they better hope to god that I NEVER meet up with them in a dark alley.

ok rant over :)

i know how you feel. my first lumina was broken into during the middle of the night in a well-lit parking lot. its not so much the loss of the goods, its the sense of lost security... i wanted to sell the car that day

when my car got broken into, i walked out on the guy doing it and he took off so i called the cops and they brought a k9 unit and tracked the guy down. it took about 4 years but i finally got 1300 in restitution.

I hate it when crap like this happens........ Pisses me off tremendously!!!

I would be hunting down these Mofo's and then beat them enough to land them in the hospital!!!

nagel79 03-20-2007 11:09 AM

the guy that broke into mine got bit in the pills by a very angry german shepard

Sorry to hear! I'd be FURIOUS too. :x

I'm surprised my own car has not been broken into in my driveway. I turn my music down on my street so no one knows I have subs, but I still get attention otherwise. And I cover my stereo with anything I have in the car when I park at night. I'm actually pretty nervous about putting the swoopies on, as the thugs in the neighborhood will probably get some ideas. I need to get an aftermarket alarm.
