I wanna get a set of Silverstars for my GTP. Do they give off a bluish light, or are they still white light?

I don't like the blue lights, so that is why I am asking.

Whiter than white, no blue. The blue optical coating on them stifles the yellow wavelengths of light, allowing a truer white. You'll love 'em.

Do the same with your driving lights. Just be careful upping the wattage with the stock plastic lenses.

If I was ever gonna upgrade my driving lights, I would get the whole new fixture too. I might hold off on those for now.

Silverstars are perfect. They are practical. There'* not any ricer-look blueish tint to them yet they are "white" enough to show a difference compared to your stock bulbs.

I just replaced my first Silverstar yesterday. It lasted 11 months, I think it was defective, but they are well worth the premium price.

I would go for it, I find the Cool blue high/Silverstar low is a great combo

That'* exactly what I'm running. Cool Blue High, SS low, 100W H3 fogs.

Definitely get the SS'* for the headlights unless you can afford 5500-6500k HID'*. With your GP you might want to get some GTS CLEAR headlight covers to protect those stocks plastic lenses from the elements (bugs, rocks, gravel, etc...). My brother put brand new headlights on his 1998 GP SE and the improvement over the old chipped units was ten-fold. Now he'* ordering a set of clear GTS cover to put over them, and clear so he won't have to take them off every night.

Yup, the SS'* are white as white can be, but if you look at them they almost have a rainbow effect inside the headlight capsule). When I was picking up my SS 9006'* and 880'* last weekend I had a Ford guy there telling me to get the Cool Blue for the high'*, SS'* for the lows, and custom driving lights in place of the stock fogs (stupid me for not following his advice or my own intuition). I ended up walking out with the SS'* for the lows and fogs (standard highs for now). If I'd of been thinking for an extra $15 over the price of the SS fogs I could have had Hella Angel eyes at my door. Anyone want to buy the complete stock fogs with SS bulbs for $55 including shipping?

To be perfectly honest, the Silverstars looked like @$$ in my 94 SSE, but in the revised headlight from 96-99 they look great! And in 2000+ its even better looking.

I saw the bulbs I would need on PFYC.com. On my car, each bulb has both low and high beams built in to it. The set sells for around 44 bucks with shipping also. Does anyone know of a part store that would sell em for less?
