Most Miles Driven in One Month
I just checked the last time I changed my oil was exactly one month ago today. I had 93,000 miles on the Orphaned Olds. Today I went over the 96,000 mile mark. 3,000 miles in one month. That'* insane!!! But every weekend this past month my family and I went away. Once to Boston, the following weekend to Philadelphia, and twice to Newport, RI.
I know some of you have over 200,000 miles on your H-bodies. So I'm curious, what'* the most miles you put on your car in one month???

Wow that'* a ton of miles! I assume you're changing your oil again then?
Before I used to cruise every weekend and make some kills. On Friday and Saturday nights I 'd rack up maybe 40 miles a night on the same 3 mile strip. Back then I probably got at least 1000 miles a month, which seems normal I guess. I haven't done much cruisin' lately...tryin' to save money on gas so I can afford to fix up my car. I get no more than 800 miles a month right now.

20,000 mi per year is the national average.
Some do a lot more, some like me, a lot less.
3,000 per month or 36,000 per year is high but I know some travelling sales types that put on 200,000 mi in 3 years One was driving an Intrepid, the other an Accord. Guess which one got hauled to the wrecker being totally worn out.....right, the Intrepid. As much as I despise the ricers, the Accord was a 98, had 400,000 km and was still going strong....didn't burn any oil either.

The most I've ever had was about 2500 or so. I went from Sioux Falls SD to Sandusky OH and back. But normally I get maybe 4000 to 5000 miles a year. If you like amusement parks and live near ohio head to cedar point there. Really fun time. Long lines but really fun.

I guess I'm a good distance away from the annual average. At the rate I'm going I'll have about 20,000 miles in 2 years. I don't mind keeping my miles down though.

This past summer in July I went on a few trips and I took the Bonne on every road trip. I put about 2800 miles on my car in just under a month.
