TURBONATOR
Hey everyone. I've got a 98 SE and am thinking about building a cone filter set up. I also have been thinking about installing a turbonator. It'* only 50 bucks and looks like a good idea. Can I do that and put a cone filter on? If you know anything about turbonators, let me know.

Plus you have a series II and it has the screen over the inlet so what would the point of swirling the air be? Not a wise investment. The cone filter would be great though.

And on a 3800, the MAF is in the throttle body, and just ahead of the MAF is the MAF screen thats there to make the incoming air laminar across the MAF... So you are going to twist the air only to straighten it back out again... Basicly, install that is only going to be a restriction for a 3800

From the website: "The Turbonator is a non-moving vortex generator that goes inside your air intake hose, right after your air filter."
Identical to the "Tornado fuel saver".
This will LOWER MPG and horsepower in nearly any engine you can think of. It'* nothing more than a restriction in the intake.

Spend the $60 for a nice K&N air filter to put on the end of that intake tube you want. It'* a proven method to get what you're looking for.
