What'* the deal with these?
Hey guys,
I found these on JC Whitney... I am not really considering on buying these, but I want to know the pros and cons of using these to lower your car. I havent seen many people on here using them from quick search, but are these bad news, or ok to use?

Those are clamps that hook onto your springs and compress them. Alignment isn't considered or is the long term effect of keeping the spring unnaturally compressed.
My overall opinion of this type of method for lowering is, it'* a short term band aid...not the right way to do it.

Those have been around since the 40s. What they will do for you is lower your car at the expense of damaged springs, terrible ride and handling, increased tire wear and there is no thrill in the world like having one of them break at 90mph.
