A co-worker owns a '99 BMW 325i sedan and I was kiddingly trying to talk him into racing at Great Lakes Dragaway (Union Grove, WI) to see who has the faster car (for 1/4 mile, that is). We're not really serious about it, but it does make me wonder...how WOULD my stock SSEi stack up against his stock Beemer?

I don't know, I could only find a 2001 325i in the stock performance times, but it would be pretty damn close. the 325i goes from 0-60 in 7, and the 95 Bonneville (Non-SC) Does it in 7.1 seconds, and they supposedly both do the 1/4 mile in 15.4
are you SC or non? If you are SC, you've got him...other than that I guess it comes down to driving.

I doubt we'll ever actually see the track (the SSEi becomes the family car in 4 months) but it'* fun to speculate. Maybe I'll take him for a ride and show him what being blown'* all about...wait, that sounds really, really bad...
