Default Sweet sorrow.

I happened to notice two Bonnevilles sitting at North Mankato motors as I was pumping gas and thought I would check the black '98 out. I wouldn't mind buying a relatively cheap project Bonnie, but this was so good I had to take pictures.

Driver'* fog light is missing but there is no evidence of damage. Note the price tag.

Hmm. . . $7,990 for a used 1998 Bonneville SE with no fog light. . . but wait it gets better.

The cloth interior is pulling away from the door.

I don't know how you get crap in the taxi light. . . but I know from experience it'* a butt to remove the rear deck.

Hmm. . . did someone try to patch the bumper?

I wasn't able to go in the car but the inside had trash everywhere and someone'* water bottle on the backseat.

Driver'* door.

Ignore the guy behind the camera.

I tried to see inside (the dealers were not interested in talking to me) and I think the odometer read around 105,000. I can only imagine whats wrong mechanically.

A couple cars down is a purple SSE. . .

The gold paint is wearing off all over the car and no that isn't bad camera angle. . .

This is why she leans.

She also has a hairline crack which is even longer than what the photo shows and splays out near the top. I'm pretty sure its unrepairable at this point.

CUSTOM PAINT DESIGNS!!!!!! Ooooooh.

The purple one I wouldn't want to deal with body wise, the black one I wouldn't pay more than $800 as is and they can take their warranty and shove it in their tail pipe. The black one certainly would be a project car. I think I'll save my money.

Sometimes you wonder why certain people are allowed to deal with complex mechanical modes of transportation. The two people who owned those cars (ESPECIALLY the one who had the purple puker) should have their licenses taken away and only be allowed to ride bicycles from now on! Well, maybe even bicycles would be too dangerous for them, as they have many pointy edges and the specter of falling is ever-present on two-wheeled self-propelled locomotion...
