yes, that is the place to go for the Bonneville timeline. I actually have put some time into that wiki article because I really wanted that info somewhere where people can add info for older generations. When it is complete...which it may never be, I will probably add some of that info into the catalog, but first will be basic factual specs, then all the loose stuff like options, standard features, etc.

OK! so its been about 8 days since I got my computer back and all is going well. I have added quite a few entries to the catalog, including quite a few that were in new sections, which are the best kind! Its really building up nicely.

Now I believe I've mentioned the idea for posting up specs by year and trim, including gear ratio by trim and such and so on. I will probably start that this next week but it may take a while, I will be testing out a few different styles. I wanted to do something with tables like in wikipedia format, but there is not enough horizontal room on most screens to display it properly. I have also thought about putting all the specs on one page, so that basically becomes the specs section, but that is certainly not integrating it like I wanted to. Any ideas on this? Or should I just post a link on each page leading to the Pontiac Bonneville wikipedia article?

I haven't checked out your site in awhile. I must say, it is coming along nicely and I like the current look and format.

On the specs, although it would take more of your time, I think it would be fantastic if the specs were on your page rather than linking to Wiki. I think your page would be complete that way.

You could have a spec page that groups years together that have basically identical specs, and then in each year indicate any changes in options or equipment or available/discontinued paint colors, etc. from the previous model year.

It would be incedible to have all this cool Bonneville info on yor site for one stop information shopping. Again, very well done so far and I know I appreciate the effort you have put in so far collecting and organizing the information and photos.

So a completely separate comprehensive Bonneville info spec section by year? sounds good. gonna take quite a bit of research. anyone know where i can get info on the available paint and interior color options by year? jees, i might have to be changing my domain to something more general like pontiacbonneville.com or bonnevilles.com :lol:

Well...I was thinking that you could group similar generation Bonnevilles together. Like, 87-91, 92-99, (with notes for 94/95 engine changes and '96 body cladding changes) and 00-05, then list the basic/common specs for all 87-91 years in one place, 92-99 together, then 00-05, rather than duplicating the same information for each individual year. Then, you could list the options, changes and colors for each year for each model, either along with the photo catagories for each year you already have developed, or as a subset of the basic specs. It would be great to click on 1996 (for example) and see that body cladding was changed, new exterior colors are....discontinued colors are....new interior colors....etc.

I know some members have sales literature for many years that would be helpful, but I would assume that many of us here would be willing to help out and we should have all the knowledge needed to come up with the info. I know I would love to help in some way.
