Default wheel is squealing

my wheels are making some kind of squeaking noise. it isnt very loud but it is embarassing. it doesnt do it when i press on the brakes. any ideas

Need to know what types of rotors and pads you have, and how long they've been there for starters. I'll move this to mechanical and maintenance when I get things fixed down there.

i think i have the stock ones could this be a brake probelm they work fine or could something simply be rubbing

On each of your pads, there'* a 'squeaker'. A small metal tab that rubs on the rotor to tell you the pads are getting thin. Make sure this isn't the problem.

If there'* plenty of pad left, the problem is that the pads basically vibrate at a very high frequency against the caliper piston and that is the squeal or squeak that you hear. The back of the pad is the culprit. Just go to your nearest auto parts dealer and ask for brake pad "goop"...
