If there are coilovers or lowering springs, go for that...

Depending on the car, cutting the springs may do good, but with others, you'll get a crappy and bouncy ride. It'* cheap to do, but it'* a huge gamble - and you run the risk of messing other things up, ie, camber.

Don't cut Bonneville springs. They're variable rate springs, and you'll mess it up badly. The best (and perhaps only) option is at www.domesticperformance.com

There you have it, I had no idea about Bonneville springs.

Lowering prings for cars like the Toyota MR2 are too soft and bottom out the car - in these cases, you get better results from cutting.

Don and I have been discussing some of this offline. It appears as if each spring set in our cars are computer-matched for spring rate, as well.

To give you an idea of what I mean about variable rate, just look at the rear coils. Measure the gaps between each coil at different locations.

Totally different. Not interchangeable. Only other H bodies would be, and yours is firmer than any olds or buick of the same vintage.
