anyone know a good online parts interchange list?
 

i'm still gearing up to start my swap and i'm hoping to find better springs and bushings and things like that, which obviously don't exist for cars like mine. i'm looking for a parts interchange list i can pour over and see if there's any goodies i can steal off other cars and use on mine.

Would you happen to know what suspension that Van has?

I have seen many of these with either the FE1 or FE2 with Load level... Glance at you rpo list if you could..

to be honest, i don't know where my RPO list is, but i don't think anything would interchange...unless the bonnie has a solid rear axle...

On one of the plastic covers in the rear of your van should have the RPO label attached... I have seen those vans with the FE2 ride and handling suspension...

I'll search and see if I can find some springs for it with a higher load rating ;)

Did some more searching... And found a Heavy Spring for the 97-02's.... now the question is how much did the 97 Transport change? It still has the solid rear axle, but there is a listing for an HD rear spring, where the 92-95's did not have that listing...Hmmmm

well my van has the load leveler, but it doesn't have any RPO's on the back plastic. at all. nor is there anything underhood. i just don't know where it would be...

i looked it up and it should be on the inside of the jack cover... but it's not. the jack isn't there either... joy of joys.

Now that just sucks...

I can find the specs for replacement springs for the 94-95 Transports... But I can't find specs on the HD springs for the 97-02... Its odd... If we knew what all of the specs were we might be able to see if they are the same size...

At the same time I wonder if a set of Reflex air shocks would help you any... Thats if they can be found

as far as the rear suspension goes, i'm pretty much going to leave it alone, just replace it with new OEM equipment. then i want to rewire the electric load leveler so that i can manually control it.jack up the back end all the way so i can try and put more weight on the front wheels at the track...

i'd really like to find some springs, even if they're universals to drop the whole van about 1.5-2 inches. the thing is terrible top heavy and kind of scary in even slight corners. another eventual plan is to get lexan windows on the rear 5 windows, again in an attempt to move the CG down and forward.

as cool as it is to be one of the first guys to do something like this (i'm actually the second, credit given to fieroflyer), it sucks to be the first guy to do something like this.

and the second gen trans sports share nothing with the first gens but the names. steel bodied boring looking peices of crap.

How does your load level system work? And do you have the Inflator in the rear of the Van? If you have the inflator, you can unplug the selector solenoid, hit the on switch at the inflator and you should be able to pump up the rear to your hearts content ;)

Also, My cousins Montanna has the FE2 suspension, with Load Level... I was supprised at how well it did drive totally loaded down... Handled and drove pretty good for a minivan... ;)
