On the lombar (SP) support piece the pic is not my car but mine has the exact same wear pattern i even looked at a 92 SSEi and it had the same deal

I would think that would be normal wear & tear. Especially it being on the drivers seat.

A friend of mine has the same wear on his drivers seat. Driver induced. He always wears a buck knife and a big set of keys on his left side.

The only car I've ever had with leather was worn there as well. Come to thing of it, so were the vynil sets in all the MP Vehicles I can rememebr..

When you're getting in and out that will be a rough area. I don't have very heavy wear like that on mine. I only have 109,2xx miles. just some cracks in the leather, that'* it.

I think we decided in the past that the passenger'* seat uses the same parts, so you can get good replacements from a junkyard donor.
