Default Service Engine soon Light

Ahh it came on today as i was driving, i pulled all the plug wires and what not and noticed no prob i reconnecd them and the light remaind on, it doesnt idel perfect but close to it, and it gets about 300 town kms to a tank of gas, i unhooked the battery, then re conneced it and the light stayed off once the car was running, im gunna replace the O2 sensor and fuel filter and see how that helps the idel.

Retrieve the codes and tell us what the code numbers are.

Did you read the article? I should flash a 12 (flash once, pause, flash twice) 3 times total to tell you you're communicating with the PCM. After that, it'll flash each code 3 times. Don't take your eyes off it. It helps to have someone write the codes down as you call them off. That article in Techinfo has most of the codes, or you can just bring it back here.
