Anniversary(56k warning)

Well today Renée and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary that we have been together. Not married yet but that is another story.

SOOO I took her out for supper, you are probably wondering how the hell this is a general topic and not in the lounge. Well here is why.

It was a bit warm today, and there is no AC in the Bonne, but my Malibu does have AC, which car do you think we took?? Here is a hint.

I even put it on the Fahrenheit setting just for you guys

Yep took the Bonne in this heat. Why would I do that when I have AC in the other car, well keep reading to find out.

We decided to take a drive after supper, took a few shots while we were out and about. BTW that is a STOCK gas cover door, just off a black Bonneville, the one that was on it was too badly rusted, Renée actually likes it left black, so for now it stays( one less thing for me to do right now, LOL).

That's all nice and all, but still why is this in the General section and NOT lounge, Hmmmm maybe the next few pics will help

What is that??? pretty hard to see at night. Let me turn the flash on for you

Yep, that's right, not only is it our anniversary( actually tomorrow but I will be out of town) but the Bonne has now made it into the 200,000 club, even though it is in kms still, it's 200,000, too bad it didn't hit 200,000 properly and not get stuck like it did..

And where did this take place, ( we actually turned around so it would happen here and not the side of the HWY.

The Airport, in the background you can see the water bombers
http://www.malibuclub.ca/bonneville/...2005%20033.jpg
getting pretty dark, who is that in the car?? Need that damn flash again,

That would be Renée holding onto her baby, as you can tell she drove home after supper, dammit, lol.

Here are a few more random shots just because.

Scary thing is that my 2003 Malibu will be joining the Bonneville in the same club within a year if I keep it up, already at about 151,000kms on it.

Very nice Mice.. I think Renee is lieing to you.. she doesn't take it easy on the bonnie.. look @ the brake dust difference on the front rim.. she's been out rally driving and or auto crossing ( cause "cough cough" someone won't let her take the go-kart.. )

sse1990 08-08-2005 12:45 AM

Nah, that is not brake dust, that is probably the aluminum rims deteriorating more on the front than rear.

Going to have to find more rims for that car soon, before they start leaking.

Drifter420 08-08-2005 12:57 AM

Mine already leaks

DAMM SWIMMING LESSONS...

well I did put the pics in order, LOL. Too bad you can' really see the 2 properly in the 200,000. figure we are going to have to wait till we add another 10,000 to it before the 2 will come up evenly.

gm4life 08-08-2005 11:52 AM

Not sure exactly how I got to this post but I wanted to say great pictures people and I enjoyed reading this thread. I also didn't kow there was a 200,000 klm club. Is there a 400,000 klm club?

Frank

sse1990 08-18-2005 09:06 PM

There is no real "club" per say, I was just making it up sorta.

You will pretty lonely in the 400,000 club.

So what car are you bringing to the meet on Sept 3rd in high park? I am going to try and bring the Bonneville, but the trip from Sudbury to T.O. is about 5 hours each way so I will wait and see at the last minute, then again, the Bonneville is almost ALWAYS clean compared to the Malibu, lol.

Maymybonnieliveforevr 08-18-2005 09:34 PM

Been to Sudbury many times in my Bonne...shouldn't take you more than 4 hours, especially if you're going to drive your beast.

As for which car I'm taking, I assumed it would only be right to take my Bonne...whether it's aided by a tow truck or not! What happens at these meets anyway?

By the way, when I have a chance, I'll take a picture of my car from 40 feet away, with the sun in the right position and I'll use a 35mm with a filter..and do any necessary touch-ups before posting.
