Angel Eye install help

So I picked up a set of Hella Angle Eyes today at PepBoys. Very happy with the look of them, they have a little tester button to light up the ring. Anyways my questions is that I just want to wire them up to both be on using the factory switch. Don't want to hook it up with the 2way switch supplied. Don't plan on crusing with just the ring on. That can be done right? I just need to splice off the wires to the switch, cross the eye and light together and tap into the back of the factory switch, right?
Where Are you taping into a power wire at? My battery is under the back seat.
Little help guys, thanks in advance.

I've never hooked a set up, but if you mean you want the halo's and the lights to oerk together always, then splicing the power feeds should work.

So you don't want the Rings to light up separately than the driving lights? If so you'll need another switch. But if not then you may be able to use the stock switch to light both up at once, but I don't know how bright the rings would be with those 55W driving lights on too. Good luck and show us the pics!! :D

Couldnt you take the power line from the angel angel and tap into the power line for the fog lights? For hooking them up to work with your factory switch youll need two people. When you disconnect the factory foglights, get a test light. Ground out the test light. Have your friend turn the switch on, now check the wires & see which one is getting power. Turn switch of turn make sure it is the turn on wire. Dont have to run any wires inside or anything.

If you power both of them with the stock power line they should both light up with the stock switch. That will save you the hassle of trying to run wire into the car.

OH yea just use T-taps. So that way if for some reason you wanna go back to stock you still have the stock connectors. Heat shrink them so they dont rust out on ya.

I found a 1 inch hole in the firewall...it wasn't a hassle for me! But I know it would be easier to just hook them to the stock wires. The only hassle I had was mounting them.

Hey, you mind sharing a pic or description as to where the hole is??

What if you hooked up the Halo's to the parking lamp power, and the fog lights to the fog light power? THen if you don't want the fogs you just just turn it off like normal, but the halo will be on when the parking lamps/more are on.

So let me get this straight, on your guys angle eyes, when the 55watt lamp is on the HALO turns off? I don't really care that much about the Halo, I wanted 55w in a clear housing.

I thought about just using the stock wire and wiring it all up that way. I've heard that is NOT recommended do to the stock wires being thinner. I'm going to give this a shot tomarrow as long as it's not raining. I'd like to use the factory switch, see what happens.

Where should I hook up the battery wire, since my battery in under the back seat?
