when i worked at pepboys, we used to charge 10 bucks a piece plus 2.50 each for the stems, 50 bucks all four

that really sucks. But I guess atleast they ddin't flatten your tires, then superglue the caps shut. That would have been much worse.

Can't trust anyone these days. I've gotten locking gas caps for all my cars, even the Bonne, and that had the locking fuel door.

Walmart will do it for $6.50 plus $1.75 for the valve stem here local. $33 plus tax. Check in to it.

What you should do is this...

After replacing them, let all the air out of the tires and refill with mustard gas. Then wait for the bastards to come back

That would only work if they let the air out. If they just superglue the caps on nothing would happen.

yea pretty much would suck though for the mechanic and the kids would have to pull the valve core also for the mustard gas to come out

Just curious, don't they have to take the tire off to change the valve stem? To get the tire off they have to deflate it, right? How do they do that if you can't get the valve stem cap off?
