93 se vs. early 90's grand prix

today i was driving in traffic and i saw an early 90's grand prix with a really nice sounding dual exhaust. (i got jealous, cause i want doulies) as i caught up, i saw that he had on one of those tape on hood scopes. i was toying with him and luckily the next light turned red with me pulled up next to him. i looked over and he laughed. when the light went green he gunned it and broke traction (it's wet out) i slowly gunned it until about 15 mph before i punched it. we were pretty even at that point and then i just pulled away. i was shocked, i thought he would be able to take me. i pulled about 3 car lengths infront of him before i let off. (traffic was comming up too quickly) the gran prix caught up to me and the guy was looking over at me like he had seen a ghost :bluetwitch: , cause i wasted him. then he gave me a thumbs up and turned off the main road. damn, that was a fun kill. nothing like pontiac vs. pontiac. by the way, what kind of engines do they have under there hoods? just wondering. and he had a really nice dual exhaust. sounded beautiful i want one soo bad :bluecry:

The GTP's of that era mostly had 3.4 liter DOHC V6's. Those motors are very bad ass.

If it was just a GT though it probably had either a 3.4 pushrod V6 or 3.1 V6 I don't think the 3800's went in the Grand Prixs till 97.

Grand Prix's first saw the 3800 in 97 with the Series II. You're correct.
