Default 92 SSE courtesy lights

My 92 SSE has the entry lights feature that turns on the interior lights when the
door handle is pulled up. I'm pretty sure all SSE models and many more have this
option. Anyway- mine don't work. Does anyone know where the fuse is for this?
Thanks in advance. DJR

Um... How much is not working?

No interior lights at all?

Working interior lights, but won't go on when outside door handle is lifted?

If the lights work but the door handle does not, maybe there'* a bad switch. Can _either_ front door activate the lights?

My SE doesn't have it. Would be nice if it did.

Aviator, You don't have the Illuminated entry?? I have it on my SE... Got the little green lights around the key hole, and all of the lights turn on when the door handle is pulled.. And I don't have keyless entry... What gives... I though most all bonnevilles had the Illuminated entry.. Oh well, must be a GM thing
Don, No green lights on the keyhole. No keyless entry either. Talk about being stock.

I love that feature. Very helpful in finding the lock on those late nights just as your leaving the club...

Default 92 SSE courtesy lights

I guess I wasn't clear in explaining- My SSE has illuminated entry (correct term). The
interior lights work fine, only the illuminated entry doesn't work. That is why I suspect
a fuse somewhere. I have owned this car for 8 years and this feature used to work
when I first got it. I am only the 2nd owner. The illuminated entry feature hasn't worked
for a few years now. Do you think it is the switch? If so- where is that located? In the
door?? The entry feature doesn't work from either front door. Any ideas????

Thanks

Default 95 Bonne SLE

I love my 92 SSE so much, that I am buying another Bonneville. This one is a 95 SLE
w/series II. The seller says that it is an SLE, but I can't find any markings that say it
is an SLE anywhere on the car. It looks like an SE. The seller bought the car new and
swears it is an SLE. Does anyone know how to tell???? Thanks

here'* an interesting tidbit of info for you guys.. the 00 and up models don't have it, and my 97 riv doesn't have it either! I guess something about theives being able to pull up your handles to see what you have inside of your car at night or something probably. All the lights do turn on with teh keyless entry though, just not when you lift a handle. :(
